The Little Flower School is the teaching project of Nicolette Owen (Nicolette Camille) and Sarah Ryhanen (Saipua); each known for their loose, natural, garden-focused floral designs. Fueled by their reverence for flowers and penchant for travel, the two traverse the globe teaching, learning, and hunting down the most beautiful floral specimens.

The summer garden presents seductive vitality; boundless growth displayed in hues, textures and scents that paralyze with awe. Mid-summer gifts diversity of outstanding local product cast with dynamic movement. Summer Splendor will feature a spread of the soft and gestural--field flowers, dahlias, clematis, garden roses, nicotiana, martagon lillies, foxgloves, scabiosa, cosmos, wild grasses, berries and hydrangea... we will source heavily from WORLDS END FARM.

Nicolette and Sarah will talk technique with an emphasis on mindfully constructing a floral composition in this all-levels class. Through demonstration, candid discussion and creation of their own masterpiece students will gain a greater understanding of the relationships between color, texture and form; how best to honor each stem's unique constitution.

All materials including clippers, flowers and a vase will be provided. Light snacks and refreshments will be served through-out the class to sustain our creativity.

This class is open to students of all levels. Full payment is required to reserve your spot. This class is non-refundable. Minimum of 15 students required.
